Bancroft Lakeside Campus at Mullica Hill
Mullica Hill, New Jersey – The project is the redevelopment of an existing rural campus serving developmentally disabled and brain-injured individuals in a residential/vocational setting. Bancroft’s Mullica Hill Campus creates an environment that blends with its rural setting and creates a compact, self-contained ‘live-work’ village community appropriate to the special needs of its residents. The project was carefully designed to be built within the developed area of the site to minimize disturbance of the surrounding woodland.
The Mullica Hill Residential Programs serve adult individuals who may be moving back into a community setting following a brain injury, as well as individuals with developmental disabilities who are preparing to move to a community setting for the first time.
The Mullica Hill Campus is located approximately three miles south of the town of Mullica Hill, in a rural southern New Jersey location. The campus-based program includes apartments, group homes, and recreational and vocational facilities. The program is designed for individuals who require a higher degree of staff support and supervision than that often found in greater community settings. The residents live, work and play on campus.
